Fleet maintenance keeps work trucks, service vehicles and delivery trucks on a maintenance schedule that matches how hard they're actually used. Work vehicles haul and tow, idle at job sites and rack up stop and go miles. Most owner's manuals treat that as severe service, which usually means shorter intervals than the standard schedule.

For most fleets, the core of it is regular oil changes, inspections of every fluid, brake service and checks of the drivetrain, from the transmission to the differentials and driveline. We also keep an eye on the parts that wear hardest under heavy use, like brakes, suspension and steering parts, belts, hoses and the cooling system.

The point is catching problems early. Brake pads getting thin, transmission fluid that's dark and burnt, a differential seal starting to seep or a coolant hose going soft are all easier to plan for, and usually less costly, when they're found during scheduled service instead of after a breakdown. A planned visit is also a lot easier to work around than a truck stuck on the side of the road with a crew waiting on it.

Local roads add their own wear. Around Missoula, gravel, potholes, mountain grades and real winters are hard on brakes, suspension and drivetrains, and work vehicles see more of all of it than the average commuter.

We work on all makes and models, so a mixed fleet of cars, pickups and SUVs doesn't have to be split between shops. That includes the bigger jobs. Because we handle engine diagnostics, electrical work, differentials and transmission repair and rebuilds along with routine maintenance, a fleet vehicle that needs more than an oil change doesn't have to go somewhere else.

Every fleet vehicle gets the same approach we use on any repair. We inspect, explain what we found, separate what needs to be done now from what can wait, and give you the cost before any work starts. For whoever manages the vehicles, that makes it easier to plan repairs and budgets instead of reacting to surprises.

If you run a few work vehicles or a bigger fleet, give us a call and tell us what they do day to day. We'll talk through the maintenance they need and how to fit it around the way you use them.

  • Built around heavy use

Oil changes, fluid inspections, brake service and drivetrain checks set up for vehicles that haul, tow and run all day, not for light commuting.

  • Maintenance and major repair in one shop

From routine service to diagnostics, differentials and transmission rebuilds, a fleet vehicle that needs more than an oil change doesn't have to go somewhere else.

  • Clear priorities for planning

We tell you what needs attention now, what can wait and what it will cost before work starts, so you can plan repairs and budgets instead of reacting to breakdowns.

They do Great Work for a Fraction of the Price the Dealership wanted to charge me. They are now my go to shop.

  • I’ve got both my suspension and my clutch replaced in my WRX by them, and they were super quick! Quoted me up to a week both times, but I got my car back within 2 days, both times. Really great work!!

Instead of charging me for a lot of parts that I didn’t need, he told me he couldn’t diagnose the exact spot in my suspension that was making noise. We agreed that I would drive my car a little longer and see if it gets worse. He used suspension ears and spent a lot of time trying to diagnose my car. Many shops would’ve just told me I needed struts and would’ve charged the normal labor and mark up on parts. He might not have solved my problem but kudos to John and his team for not just throwing parts at it. I would HIGHLY recommend them if you’re looking for a trustworthy shop in the Missoula area.

Fleet Maintenance questions

Something else on your mind? Call the shop.

It depends on the vehicle, the oil and how it's used. Vehicles that tow, haul, idle a lot or make short stop and go trips usually fall under the severe service schedule in the owner's manual, which calls for shorter intervals. Many newer vehicles also have an oil life monitor, and we'll go over both with you.
